Mexico matters. We help you keep up with it.

The Mexico Brief brings you independent intelligence that loops you into Mexico’s politics, current affairs, and contemporary culture.

Our mission: to cut through the noise and make Mexico understandable to time-poor decision makers, Mexico watchers, and anyone else who needs to understand the world’s 11th largest economy a little bit better. We report on and analyze key political news in sharp, focused bursts of information. We are your toolkit to help you quickly understand what’s driving the week’s events in Mexico, and their impact on the bigger picture.

The Mexico Brief was founded by media and communications veteran Andrew Law, who holds a MSc in International Relations from UCL and has worked in Mexico for over a decade. Our regular contributors include David Agren and Eduardo García. David has covered Mexico extensively since 2005 for publications including The Washington Post, The Guardian, USA Today, and The Globe and Mail. Eduardo helmed Bloomberg’s Mexico City bureau for a decade prior to joining the investment intelligence firm Infosel as Editor in Chief.
