Oaxaca teachers strike

Teacher strikes in Oaxaca have left nearly 500,000 primary school students without classes to attend on 27 and 28 January. The striking teachers’ demands revolve around increasing labour standards, issues around school equipment and furnishings, and outstanding uniform deliveries.
