US Democratic senators support controversial immigration bill

A handful of US Democratic senators, including Ruben Gallego (AZ) and John Fetterman (PA), have come out in support of the controversial Laken Riley Act, which passed the US House two days ago. The bill would effectively hand control of key areas of immigration enforcement from the federal executive to state level attorneys general. Read more at Politico.
